New Bill Would Strengthen Defense Against ‘Russian Aggression’

July 29, 2014 – In this edition4128489380_a08146da9d_z of his weekly audio show, Ron Paul discusses new legislation that is intended to ramp up defenses against supposed “Russian aggression” toward Ukraine.

As of today, 26 senators have signed the “Russian Aggression Prevention Act of 2014,” which would further strengthen strategic NATO operations and serve as a “plan for enhancing the ability of the United States military to respond to crises in Europe and Eurasia.”

The backers of this bill seem to be looking for a way to lay the groundwork for sending more military overseas, which COULD escalate the Ukrainian crisis to war. The bill was introduced in May and has been referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
