The Irony of Hillary Clinton’s Views on Brexit

June 29, 2016—In under two minutes, Jacob Hornberger, president of the Future of Freedom Foundation, eviscerates Hillary Clinton’s opposition to Brexit.

Hillary Clinton is chiding Donald Trump for having supported Brexit, the vote by which the British citizenry voted to exit Great Britain from the European Union. She opposed the measure, as did her former boss, President Obama.

In fact, Obama even went to Great Britain to try to really, essentially pressure the British people into rejecting the measure, saying that all sorts of bad things were going to happen to them if they approved the measure. And, of course, they ended up approving it anyway.

But one of the ironies of this is that it is the interventionism of Clinton and Obama, and before them, George W. Bush, that really was a major factor in the Brexit vote. And I’m talking about the major refugee crisis that has hit Europe in the past year. It’s a direct consequence of the invasion of Iraq, which Clinton supported and George W. Bush initiated, and which is still producing death, destruction, ISIS, civil war, and so forth.

But there’s also Libya, which Clinton was very proud of, where you now have a massive civil war and death and destruction. You got the Syria regime change operation, so all this chaos and crisis and death and destruction from foreign interventionism led to the refugee crisis that then motivated many British people to vote in favor of Brexit, just another irony of Clinton-Obama-Bush interventionism.

If you want more of the same, you’re gonna get it, because Clinton’s made it very clear that she’s gonna do four more years of Obama, who did eight more years of Bush. More death and destruction, more interventionism.

There’s only one way out of this, and that’s to stop the interventionism, which stops the death and destruction, stops the terrorist blowback and stops the ever increasing infringements on our civil liberties here at home
